Jeffrey Truchon

Jeff is the founder of Sovereign Wealth Management, an independent advisory practice serving families from Maine and beyond. He became an adviser in 2016 after a background in business management, and he holds the Series 65.

He was born and raised in Greene, Maine, attended Leavitt Area High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Husson University. He lives in Readfield with his wife, Amy, and their three children. The practice is rooted in Maine and built for people who want to keep control of what they have earned, whether they stay year-round, split the year, or eventually move.

COVID changed how he sees money and markets. The decades from 1980 to 2020 rewarded a simple mix of stocks and bonds. This era is different. Inflation is real, and purchasing power needs protection. The investment decisions reflect that.

Sovereign Wealth Management was founded in 2023 to be different from traditional advice that uses fear as a reason to move retirement money. He believes a client should be able to live the retirement they have earned. Transparency, independence, and a shared interest in the client's success are the foundation of the relationship.
